I have always believed that art is alive — that every pigment, brushstroke, and scrap of paper holds a story waiting to be remembered.

My journey as an artist began not from professional schooling, but in wild places: moss-covered forests, bogs that hum beneath the moon, and the whispering hedgerows of plant and nature spirit lore. There, I learned that creativity is a form of communion — a way to speak with the unseen, to heal the heart, and to remember who we truly are.

I am a mixed media artist and healer, and through Joanna Rowan Art, I weave together the sacred threads of folklore, magick, and creative alchemy. I walk between two worlds — the visible and the unseen. My art carries the language of myth, faery, and healing because these are the stories that have always spoken to me. My work lives at the crossroads of imagination and earth — where art becomes a ritual, and the act of creation becomes a spell for wholeness and wonder.
